Okay my multi-resolution sculpting is all mesh modeling that was intuitively shaped and added detail to a mesh by pushing and pulling polygons, similar like how you might model with clay. But some basic math is good if you want to do mesh first.

Like I said before, this face was a square to polygon...Yeah, I know the process sounds nasty but that's the truth and nothing else.
