I feel like I wasted my vote for kampala central Member of Parliament, Hajji oliwambwanyo!

What you don’t realize is that most mps, especially kampala mps are all about making a living for themselves. There’s nothing like working for you because they see it as an opportunity. Look at Kato lubwama! People gave a comedian to represent them, what did you all expect?

Veteran UPDF Officer who launched a Public appeal to save his own son

A former UPDF Officer, Paddy Nabimanya launched a public appeal to raise USD13,400 (UGX46 million) to save his only son- Raymond Bamwesigye (24). Bamwesigye, a 2nd year DBA Student at Makerere University Business School, was attacked by unknown people, who hit and robbed him on June 12, 2015 while he was returning from an internship programme.

He was rescued by good Samaritans and rushed to the Spine Unit at Mulago Hospital where doctors found that the attack had damaged his spine leading to paralysis of the lower body.

Despite undergoing a major surgery, he has only been able to regain use of his upper body. He is currently unable to write, feed, and ease himself. He urinates using a catheter. He has as a result been out of school for over a year and stays with his family in Kasokoso, Wakiso District.

He now needs a second major Surgery that cannot be done at Mulago. Doctors have recommended that he be taken to Apollo Hospital in India.

Mr Nabimanya, a retired Sergeant, says the family has run out of money, following a year of Bamwesigye’s hospitalization and cannot raise the required USD13,400.
“He is all I have and there is nothing I will not try to save my only son. Am a retired army officer and I have spent all that I had. I call upon the public to help in any way possible” Nabimanya says, adding: “The specialists from India assessed him and have reassured us that a second surgery will enable his lower body to recover and the paralysis will be gone.”

ILLEGITIMATE RULER YOWERI MUSEVENI FORMED THREE CLASSES AS IN EUROPE; LORDS MADE OF BAHOROORO AND BAHIMA AND THEIR IN-LAWS THAT ARE GOVERNING UGANDA, COMMANDING MILTARY AND OTHER SECURITY FORCES PLUS CONTROLLING STRATEGIC MINISTRIES:
    “”””””””””””””””””””””””””””””””””””””
Clergy of Protestant and Catholic Bishops Who Dictator Yoweri Museveni has corrupted with Pageros, Jobs and an assortment of gifts including cows and brown envolopes who are praying for the souls of peasants and remainding them that their reward in kingdom of heaven: and peasants the main producers of goods and services for the comfort of lords and the clergy.
CONSIQUENTLY, AS IN MEDIEVAL EUROPE, UGANDA PEASANTS ARE BEING EXPLOITED THROUGH A WIDE RANGE OF TAXES TO RAISE GOVERNMENT REVENUE TO PROVIDE COMFORT FOR THE LORDS AND OFFERINGS TO THE CHURCH FOR THE COMFORT OF BISHOPS AND FREE LABOUR ON PUBLIC WORKS .

Stupid, mad and evil Yoweri Museveni. We did not sponsor him in order to create Kingdom for himself
and his family. We sponsored him to liberate Uganda and return it to Democracy and the rule of Law. See what he is doing now. Uganda cannot and will not turn the clock back to medieval times. We shall fight the idea with all our efforts and Museveni will fail and depart in disgrace.

HOW MANY MUST DIE BEFORE THEY SET UGANDA FREE??!

I commiserate with the family of that gentleman Mustafa who jumped off Mabirizi plaza the other day. It is sad. Look it is very sad. People are frustrated and there are no mechanisms to address their frustrations. Ugandans have invested in Education but no jobs. They go to town to start up small roadside businesses and they are pushed out of business by unfair taxes. The regime sold all our companies, there is no policy for creating jobs and puts more public expenditure burden on us. They have just given 64bn shillings to MPigs to buy cars. They also just sent a group of 70 Mpigs to USA to attend the UNA conference that has no clear crystal deliverables to be registered, no value addition, no use. Last week also the Mpigs were sent to Jinja where they were given bribes of 10m each and a 50kgs bag of sugar to support the constitutional amendment bill by sekitoleko. This waste when we could invest this money in job creation. The dictator is only thinking about how is regime survives for another day. And he is buying the MPigs to help him. How many of our brothers and sons will die out of despair before we act? Yesterday was mustafa, tomorrow could be your brother. The 64bn alone could be invested to create millions of jobs. But do we care??

Doctor, don’t worry. I know I am going to die. I didn’t want to come here but they brought me here.

Please don’t worry about me, look at my hair, they are gone. I am so old but you are so young. I have learnt a lot from life, if you don’t mind I will tell you some of them before I die.

When I was 4 years, I use to think the world is about me. When I turned 14, I wanted to rule the world. I thought I would be the greatest man that ever lived. When I was 21, I wanted to be the richest man, when I was 25, I wanted to find love, when I was 40, I wanted to be helpful to everyone. Now that I am here, I want to die. You see, I wanted so many things at so many times. Most importantly, I wanted to be happy. I thought the best way to be happy is to listen to others.

When I wanted to enter the University, I wanted to study Zoology but everyone said I should study Engineering that I will be a great Engineer. So I listened to them. I had no one to pay my fees, I had to work and also pay my fees. In my third year, I couldn’t cope with my studies, I had to drop. When I dropped, the same people told me “you should have studied Zoology”!

When I turned 28, everyone said I should marry. That I needed a wife. So I listened to them, I got married. 6 years into the marriage, I caught my wife sleeping with my neighbour. I asked her why and she slapped me. I was angry and didn’t say anything. The next day I returned from work, she had run away with my children, now I am dying a lonely man.

At 40, I got a huge contract. My name was in the news. The next day, all my friends and families were at my house, everyone had a serious problem. Within one week, I spent all the money on them with the promise that they will pay back. I could not complete the contract because they refused to return the money as promised. So I was sent to jail for 6 years. I stayed in jail and I came out. When I came out, they were nowhere.

There was one mistake I made through all this time. Now it is clear to me. Let me tell you about it. I refused to listen to myself. I ignored my own self and listen to others. Now that I am here the only person that is with me is myself.

You see, it is very good to listen to others. It is very wise to seek advice from others. But it is very dangerous to ignore your own self. It is very very dangerous to refuse to pay attention to your heart.

When you get home this night, sit down, take a glass of water. Close your eyes if you want or open it if you want, then talk to yourself, reason with yourself. You can walk down the road alone and as you walk, begin to talk to yourself.

The only person that can overrule yourself is God, after God, listen to yourself next. I know it may not make sense to you now but always remember I told you LEARN TO LISTEN TO YOURSELF.

32MILLION SHILLINGS@ FOR 1 FORGED GOAL IS CORRUPTION OF THE HIGHEST ORDER:

The Uganda Cranes boys should not take tax payers money just like that.
    1. In any case what is Patriotism? They were playing for their country.
    2. There should be value for money, Uganda cannot give expensive gifts like cars(to MPs) and now Millions to those energetic youth of Uganda cranesvwho can work, earn and sustain themselves yet we lack simple drugs and the cancer machine is down.
Uganda Cranes don’t take tax payers money in the name of putting Uganda on world map!!

IF THERE IS ANYONE OUT THERE,WHO STILL QUESTIONS THE PATRIOTISM OF UGANDANS,
WHO STILL QUESTIONS THE SPIRIT OF NATIONALISM,THEN THE NAMBOOLE FOOTBALL CARNIVAL WAS YOUR ANSWER.
UGANDANS ARE THE BEST PATRIOTIC CITIZEN YOU WILL FIND,IT’S ONLY THEIR GOVT THAT HAS TAKEN AWAY THAT PRIDE,SO THEY WILL SHOW IT TO FOOTBALL,BUT CAN STILL SHOW IT ELSEWHERE IF ITS WORTH IT.
In the villages, young and old cuddled around their small radios to get it live in real time.,a thing they can’t do in the state of the nation speech!.
I personally saw a woman accidentally step another, but the victim just smiled even before the other could apologise as both continued to cheer the cranes.
Never have you ever seen a people so united, digging down their pockets to buy the cranes attire kit and sacrificing time to be there.
Elsewhere the Military man in uniform would not recover his gun, because the ill trained military man was too devastated to remember his gun.But the civilians kept reminding him, afande here is your gun.
Every Ugandan who attended was smart like a peacock,no Jersey read UGANDA CRANES…NO,they all read UGANDA…that was the spirit.
United for a common national cause, they come from different religions, families, tribe, political parties etc but all that was buried deep, they were a family, they were just Ugandans.
Over 20 million Ugandans were conscious, anxious about this event, they followed it live both Inside the stadium and outside it on Radio,Tv and social media. What a commitment!
Bus owners rescheduled their routine to transport fans to Namboole free of charge!.
So if you hear some off focus politicians preaching patriotism tell him to take his pills cause we got it but not ready to misallocate it
So if football is the only consolation for being a proud Uganda, then the Namboole crowd will double every other year.
GOOD IS GOOD YOU CAN’T CHANGE IT,YOU CAN’T TALK FOR IT,GOOD TALKS FOR ITSELF.

This is a copy of the ballot paper for the District Conference elections of UPC Party President on May 15th 2015 that Hon Jimmy Akena won over overwhelmingly with 67 of 110 Districts. Remember Olara Otunnu did not Participate in this elections and it was organized by his administration.

Father of the Nation President Dr A.M Obote with the Pope in 1969.
